It's amazing to see how your taste changes over time. On a trip to Wildlife Safari back in June, I took a few random pictures of the animals. I'll usually go through them and play around with my favorites and save them in a separate folder. After looking at this one I was kind of surprised that I hadn't played around with it sooner.
Anyway, I've always really liked this peacock and am glad I wandered back into that folder and took the time to play around with the picture. Oh, and also that I ran back into the parking lot to take a picture of him. :)

Second shoot with Mary
This shoot was great, we all were so much more comfortable with each other and I think that really can be seen in the photos from both me and Jon. The first shoot was really good, but this one was just so fun. I got a lot of funny poses and faces (my favorite one I didn't post). We also got some great photos of Mary and her daughter also, but I won't be posting those on here. In this shoot we got to play around with a Harley as well as do some indoor shots. This was another shoot with Jon for N&J Photo Play, which I am loving being a part of by the way. Here's a few pictures I took from this shoot:

First Shoot with Mary
This was my first real shoot with a model. I've done favors here and there, like my boyfriend's senior pictures, "candid" event photos, friends' graduation pictures, etc.; but I've never really just gone and taken pictures of someone where we have "model" and "photographers," it's always just been close family and friends.
I met Mary through my friend, Jon (with whom I'm taking pictures with through our photography project "N&J Photo Play"), and fell in love with her. She is such a unique girl with a great heart. We have many more shoots planned with her, but this one was kind of an ice breaker for us. Here are a few of mine from our first shoot:
